What Does It Mean To Be an Associate Certified Entomologist?

If there’s anything John knows–it’s pest management. Earning the title of Associate Certified Entomologist is one the highest marks in the pest control industry and demonstrates his expertise. In fact, less than 1% of the pest control industry receives this title.

Only certified applicators with 5 years of experience, 2 industry letters of recommendation, and evidence of adhering to a lengthy code of ethics are eligible to take a rigorous and difficult exam to earn the title. Additionally, you must renew the certification every 3 years. In order to be eligible for renewal, an Associate Certified Entomologist must receive continuing education by either teaching, attending training, authoring articles, obtaining honors and awards, developing new programs, participating in peer reviews of others’ articles, and passing additional tests.
